time flexible Sri Lanka

Here you can see how departure times of trains are displayed in some of the train stations (this one in Nanu Oya). Time table is made to be as flexible as departure times of different trains. Those clocks are manualy driven so that whenever again there is a delay (and there are indeed, especially further down the route) responsible station master can move those arrows according to delay. Fortunately my train to Colombo Fort this morning came/ departed +10 minutes of the expected.
Here the time flow is indeed different than in Europe and LV. Less rush, less stress. People do more enjoy than plan and aim to do so. So I do enjoy too!
